Note. 名詞 pinch 原意為 "捏, 擰", 在此表示 "匱乏". feel the pinch 是指 "手頭不如以前寬裕", 即 "經濟拮据" 之意. 

177. "你得收回那句話" 

A. I don't think you'll win the speech contest.
B. Well, when I do, you can eat your words.

178. "他終於自食惡果" 

A. The manager who yelled at you is in trouble with the boss.
B. Good. He's finally going to get a taste of his own medicine.

Note. a taste of one's own medicine 是指 "自己曾給別人的苦頭".

Note. give sb a piece of one's mind 是指 "把心裡的話說出來; 直言不諱".

Note. 本句也可寫成 Revenge is a dish best served code, 字面意思就是 "報仇就像菜涼了再上桌", 即 "不必即著復仇" 之意. <<追殺比爾>> 一開場所呈現的就是這句名言.
