173. "你還好意思說阿" 

A. You shouldn't leave your dirty laundry lying on the floor.
B. Look who's talking. Your bedroom floor is covered in clothes.

Note. 這句話字面上為 "看是誰在說法", 當說話者認為對方半斤八兩, 沒有資格提出批評或指責, 便可以用 "Look what's talking" 來表達 "你也好不到哪去". 

174. "省小錢, 花大錢" 

A. Sheila flew to France because there was a sale on Louis Vuitton bags.
B. Wow! She is really penny wise, pound foolish.

Note. Penny 是英鎊的最小單位, one hundred penny 才等於一英鎊 (pound). penny wise, pound foolish 是指花小錢很精明, 花大錢卻變得愚昧. 

175. "我們只好硬著頭皮做了" 

A. All tickets for flights to Hawaii are very expensive right now.
B. We'll just have to bite the bullet and pay for them if we want to go on vacation.

Note. bite the bullet 字面意思為 "咬住子彈", 此說法源自於過去戰爭傷兵的治療方式. bite the bullet 引申表示 "硬著頭皮做不愉快的事".
